The University of Danang fostered a cooperation relationship with Technical University of Košice, Slovakia under the framework of Digital-Move Project

 

 

From January 22-26, the delegation of the University of Danang (UD) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of UD visited and worked at Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Slovakia.

The main purpose of the business trip was to attend seminars, combined with sightseeing and practical research, thereby promoting the cooperation relationship with TUKE under the framework of Digital-Move project (Bridging Digital Divide in Mongolia and Vietnam through HEI’s Digital Transformation).

This is a project funded by the European Commission to strengthen capacity building, aiming at implementing Digital transformation within Mongolian and Vietnamese universities through innovative teaching and learning methods and an active engagement with external stakeholders.

The UD delegation attended workshops related to Work Package No. 2 of the Project to form and create a digital culture and promote digital transformation in universities; Learn about reality and experience in building and implementing digital transformation policies, including comprehensive approaches and effective models to perfect the digital transformation ecosystem and environment.

“According to TUKE’s experts, focusing on spreading digital culture will contribute to promoting digital transformation, thereby bringing efficiency, contributing to improving university governance capacity and international integration. TUKE, Slovakia is a partner of UD under the framework of Digital Move

The delegation also had meetings with Prof. Dr. Peter Mésároš, Rector of TUKE and Prof. Dr. Ján Piteľ-Vice Rector in charge of International Relations of TUKE to jointly review and evaluate the implementation of the MOU that the two sides signed on October 2023.

The two sides agreed to continue to strengthen cooperation, focusing on student exchange, and creating opportunities for students from both sides to participate in exchange and transfer programs. The two universities also agreed on the direction to strengthen the connection of experts and promote the exchange of lecturers to participate in teaching and research cooperation.
