The University of Danang nominated staff to attend the consortium meeting and IPC training course at Université Côte d'Azur, French Republic under the framework of DIGITAL MOVE project.

 

From June 17-21, 2024, under the framework of the Digital Move Project, the working delegation of the University of Danang (UD) led by Dr. Cao Xuan Tuan – Director of the Personnel Affairs Department, standing member of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee of UD attended the consortium meeting and IPC training courses at Université Côte d'Azur (UCA), French Republic. In the delegation, there were also Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dat - Deputy Director of UD-Department of Science and International Cooperation and Dr. Nguyen Quang Vu - Head of Training Affairs Office at the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology.

UD representative gave a Report at the training course.

The content of the training course provided knowledge and skills in designing digital lectures, and digital materials, organizing training in the digital environment and management. On that basis, delegates could exchange and discuss to raise awareness of the role and importance of digital transformation in higher education, and orientations to promote digital transformation in training at Vietnam universities in general and UD in particular.

Exchanged and shared experiences about IT applications and digital transformation in higher education

This was also an opportunity to support the development of digital technology application skills for lecturers and accompany students in digital education activities, contributing to the formation and creation of digital culture in schools to keep up with the trend of higher education development in the 4.0 era.

At UCA, from June 17-19, the UD delegation also attended meetings to review, evaluate, and orient the contents of the WP1. At the same time, representatives of UD’s project management team attended virtually the 2nd consortium meeting hosted by UCA to discuss, update the task and conduct work packages of project timely.

Digital Move is a meaningful project, contributing to the implementation of UD's Development Strategy, especially on digital transformation in all fields of training, research, and innovation in university governance at management levels from Regional universities to member universities, and affiliated units.

From June 16-22, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus + project (KA171/2023), UD also sent officials to attend mobility activities at the 13th International Week in 2024 held at University of Warsaw, Poland.

According to MSc. Le Thi Thanh Nhan - Deputy Director of the Center for Information, Learning Resources and Communication of UD, this was a useful program that UD, through cooperative relationships, created opportunities for staff to learn, and experience culture, especially in the context of internationalization of higher education.

UD created many opportunities for staff, and lecturers to attend training courses within the framework of international projects like Erasmus KA171 at University of Warsaw, Poland.

MSc. Le Thi Thanh Nhan had opportunities to exchange and share experiences with colleagues from more than 20 countries, focusing on attracting international students to study and create in a diverse cultural environment; learn how to organize and operate library activities; visit, and learn about local culture and history as well as receive an intensive Polish language course.
