On the morning of July 12, 2024, the University of Danang – University of Economics host the 9^th International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF-2024) at the Da Nang Grand Tourane Hotel.

Overview of the ICOAF-2024 Conference

ICOAF-2024 was sponsored by the Vingroup Innovation Foundation – VINIF - VINBIGDATA with the companionship and coordination of domestic and international partners including Institute of Global Finance - University of New South Wales (Australia); Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (Malaysia); University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and University of Economics and Bussiness - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Speaking at the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh – UD-DUE Vice Rector said that following the success of 08 times of organization (from 2015 to the present), ICOAF-2024 was a prestigious academic event of international stature, creating an opportunity to connect with a network of scholar communities to publish new research results and share knowledge about Accounting and Finance, thereby contributing to solving challenges and problems posed in the context of economic development today.

At the Plenary Session, delegates listened and discussed scientific reports of key speakers including: "Deciphering Corporate Communication: A Firm-Level Measure of Financial Reporting Risk" by Prof. Cameron Truong (Monash University, Australia); “The Analytical Future of Accounting” by Expert Ian Pay from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The conference gathered more than 100 domestic and international scientists and experts

with nearly 70 articles and research projects
