On the afternoon of November 8, The University of Danang - University of Technology  and Education (UD-UTE) in collaboration with Nam Long Technology Investment Group (NLT Group) held the Inauguration Ceremony in order to hand over - receive and put into operation the Department of Research and Practical Training for Digital Transformation.

Attending were Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh - Director of Da Nang Department of Information and Communications; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Bac – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Cao Tho - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of UD-UTE; Dr. Phan Bao An-Chairman of the Council of UD-UTE; Dr. Bui Huu Phu - Chairman of NLT Group and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and faculties of the University.

This was a project invested by NLT Group with a total cost of 10 billion VND according to the cooperation agreement between the University and the Enterprise to meet the goal of improving the quality of training and scientific research in the field of digital transformation in order to serve the teaching, research and learning needs of staff, lecturers and students of UD-UTE.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Cao Tho - Rector of UD-UTE, the Department of Research and Practical Training for Digital Transformation was invested by NLT Group, installed modern experimental and practical equipment to catch up with the trend of requirements for digital transformation, especially focus on developing digital platforms and core technologies for UD-UTE. This was really an important mark, as a result of the effective cooperation relationship between the University and NLT Group.

Through this project, staff, lecturers and especially students of related disciplines who have the opportunity to enhance practice and experiment in the field of information technology application and digital transformation; to promote scientific research in order to create "Made in Vietnam" products bearing the imprint of cooperation of UD-UTE and NLT Group.

The University will deploy training courses to implement topics and projects on digital transformation for localities, agencies and businesses on the basis of 4.0 technology (IoT, AI, GIS Cloud). ...), a representative leader of UD-UTE shared.

Putting into operation of the Department of Research and Practical Training for Digital Transformation at UD-UTE was even more meaningful, which became a practical mark to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of construction and development of the university, thereby affirming the UD-UTE's prestige and reputation.

Over the past time, UD-UTE has been active, expanding connections and strengthening cooperation with prestigious corporations and businesses, not only helping students to increase practice time, internship, work experience opportunities and job opportunities  after graduation, but also maximize business engagement thanks to  agreements signed  such as business support in curriculum review, facility enhancement  to meet the goal of improving the quality of training and scientific research.
