The University of Danang welcomed and worked with Chairman of the Board of Heart for Heart foundation for life organization

On the afternoon of March 2, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of the University of Danang (UD) chaired a meeting with Dr. Irene Lejeune-Chairman of the Board of Heart for Heart Foundation for life organization (Heart for Heart), Federal Republic of Germany. Attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son-UD’s Vice President; Mr. Dekan David Theil-Member of Heart for Heart; Dr. Med. Le Viet Nho - Dean of UD-School of Medicine and Pharmacy (UD-SMP) and representatives of UD-SMP and UD- International Cooperation Department.

At the meeting, President Nguyen Ngoc Vu expressed his pleasure and warmly welcomed Honorary Doctor Irene Lejeune to UD. In addition, UD’s President also gave special thanks to Heart for Heart and Honorary Doctor Irene Lejeune as a whole for their active support and companionship to UD in general and UD- SMP in particular.

According to Honorary Doctor Irene Lejeune, the purpose of this working visit was to implement the intentions of the Heart for the Heart in Da Nang General Hospital as well as connect UD with other German organizations, businesses and universities, including University of Munich to seek opportunities for cooperation and development in the near future.

In the coming time, the Heart for Heart would support UD-SMP to establish a “Lejeune Room” to serve the needs of training and scientific research at UD-SMP. On this occasion, Ms. Irene Lejeune cordially invited President Nguyen Ngoc Vu to visit and work with Heart for Heart in Munich, Germany
