On December 25, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD), hosted the meeting with Ms. Ou Chi-hsi – Education Secretary of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

The meeting also attracted the participation of Ms. Luong Gia Van – Education Assistant of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in HCMC, leader representatives from the UD’s functional departments (International Cooperation; Student Affairs; Science, Technology and Environment).

At the meeting, the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced prominent activities of the UD.

Vice President Le Quang Son expressed that the two sides have potentials and strengths to coordinate and promote cooperation in the fields of education, science and cultural exchange.

The UD’s leader proposed the Taipei Office in HCMC to continue giving priority to the UD’s staff, lecturers and students in their application for scholarships, cultural and academic exchanges.

For her part, Ms. Ou Chi-hsi expressed her pleasure to return to the UD, at the same time shared outstanding activities of her Office over the past period, especially in the fields of education and training, human resources development and overseas study.

Ms. Ou Chi-hsi wished to coordinate with the UD to organize exchange programs and cooperation activities among the UD and Taiwanese businesses to provide information about the needs of enterprises; recruitment, internship and overseas study opportunities for students.
