On November 20, 2025, University of Science and Education (UED) - the University of Danang (UD) held a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute under the Ministry of Culture of Thailand.

According to Dr. Sirilak Chalongtham, Deputy Director of the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, the Institute is a public higher education institution in culture and the arts, with a mission to train high‑quality arts professionals while preserving and promoting Thailand’s traditional arts and unique cultural heritage.

Discussing opportunities and potential for cooperation in the arts, the Institute’s leadership emphasized their strengths in educating artists, educators, and researchers who make impactful contributions to national development and to cultural exchange within ASEAN and internationally.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu,  Vice Rector of UD – UED, noted that the visit and working session open up significant opportunities for collaboration in arts education, building a bridge of friendship grounded in culture and generating spiritual values and momentum for sustainable development in the broader process of higher education internationalization.

Under the signed MOU, the two sides will focus on faculty and student exchanges; jointly organize short courses, workshops, and training programs in the arts; strengthen cooperation in scientific research in arts education; and co‑host performances, exhibitions, and cultural–arts exchange programs.

During the visit to UD-UED, the delegation from the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute participated in cultural and artistic exchange activities, tours, learning and experiential programs at the Faculty of Arts and Physical Education.

Faculty members and students from both institutions performed music and dance pieces, engaged in exchanges on traditional arts, and shared experiences in arts pedagogy and practice. This marks the beginning of a collaborative journey that inspires creativity and deepens mutual understanding and connections among faculty and students, while contributing to the preservation and dissemination of artistic and cultural values in the context of regional and international integration.
