On September 10, 2025, at Danang Marriott Resort,  The University of Da Nang  - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD - UFLS) hosted Conference "Training Cooperation between Universities and Enterprises in the context of education internationalization".

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long,  Rector of the university, this is a national conference that is part of a series of events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of UD-UFLS (1985-2025).

The conference aims to strengthen connections with agencies, organizations, enterprises, and other universities. It highlights the core, pioneering role of UD - UFLS  in training and developing high-quality human resources, with a focus on innovating teaching-learning methods, assessment, and scientific research linked to digital transformation.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Thanh Bac, Vice President of  UD,  highly commended the University's efforts in organizing the conference, while emphasizing that the cooperation between the University and enterprises is not only an inevitable trend but also a key driver for improving the quality of training and research.

With its strengths in languages, culture, and interdisciplinary research, UD - UFLS is a prestigious training and research center, closely connected to the business community and societyclosely connected to the business community and society.

At the conference, UD-UFLS highlighted the crucial role and urgency of strengthening cooperation in foreign language and cultural training, which is linked to the development of trade, tourism, and services in Da Nang city as well as the Central region.

The conference proposed solutions and orientations, focusing on collaboration to improve the quality of foreign language training programs so they can better suit and adapt to the context of international integration and the process of higher education internationalization.

Related topics such as strengthening training linkages, academic exchanges, language and cultural interactions, or governance, area studies/international studies were also of interest and shared by the participants.

During the discussion session, managers, experts, and university leaders shared their experiences in training within a multicultural environment to meet the demands of both domestic and international labor markets.

On this occasion, UD-UFLS signed cooperation agreements with 11 domestic and international partners, including: ICTE Press Publishing House; the Department of Education and Sports of Sekong Province; the Association of Vietnamese People in Savannakhet Province; Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television Station; KSH Consulting and Investment Co., Ltd.; and the following businesses: Luxshare-Ict, Aureole Construction Software Development, NTT E-MOI, MJ ART Group, VI.TRA.CO Transport and Tourism Union, and Let’s Go Overseas...

The content of the cooperation focused on activities that connect the university, enterprises, and the community; perfecting the ecosystem of training, innovation, and technology transfer for foreign language teaching and learning; organizing short-term training courses and professional development; promoting the university's brand; providing scholarships; and supporting students.
