UD-UFLS students shine at the Da Nang Online Korean Speaking Contest Nang - Pyeongtaek 2026

Within the framework of the Vietnam - Korea Festival in Da Nang City 2026, students from University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) - The University of Danang (UD) made a remarkable impression at the Da Nang - Pyeongtaek 2026 Online Korean Speaking Contest, with four students from the Department of Korean Language and Culture winning outstanding awards.

At the awards ceremony, the outstanding participants were honored, recognizing their competence, Korean language skills, and confidence in presentation.

Among them, student Le My Duyen (K23) excellently won the Excellence Award (최우수상) with 84.33 points. Three students, Ho Vu Hoang My (K24), Le Thi Thuy Dieu (K24), and Mai Thi Nhu Ngoc (K25), all received the Excellence Award (우수상).

Each competition segment had its own unique character, showcasing the students' expressive abilities, presentation skills, and proactive learning spirit. More than just a platform to practice and improve Korean language skills, the competition also opened opportunities for students to delve deeper into Korean culture, confidently express themselves, and accumulate valuable experiences on their journey of integration.

Notably, the fact that students from all three cohorts (K23, K24, and K25) won awards is a proud achievement for the Department of Korean Language and Culture. This accomplishment affirms the quality of training, the learning spirit, and the dedication of UD-UFLS students, while also demonstrating their proactive approach to academic competitions and international exchanges.

The competition also contributed to building a bridge of language and culture between Da Nang City and Pyeongtaek City, thereby promoting educational and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea. Today's achievements are not only a recognition of the efforts made on the journey of learning Korean, but also a source of motivation for students to continue nurturing their passion, boldly stepping out of their comfort zones, and writing more beautiful stories on the journey of connecting Vietnam and Korea.
