UD-VNUK hosted The Global Culture Showcase - 2025: Towards Global Citizens

Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Training (VNUK), The University of Danang, held its annual Global Culture Showcase at the end of June 2025, bringing together students from across the city. The event aimed to foster global citizenship and cross-cultural understanding among Vietnamese youth.

According to Dr. Tran The Vu - Vice Dean of VNUK, the showcase was unique because it was designed and organized entirely by students, reflecting their creativity and commitment to international integration.
The program is part of the university’s broader efforts to align with national policies promoting internationalization in higher education, including the gradual adoption of English as a second language on campus.

The festival featured a vibrant array of performances and activities highlighting various cultures from around the world. Attendees experienced traditional dances and costumes from China, India, Turkey, Egypt, France, and Brazil, among others.

The event also included interactive workshops and exhibitions, encouraging students to explore global perspectives and develop language and integration skills.
Student representatives expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to engage with diverse cultures and expand their academic and professional horizons. The Global Culture Showcase also helps students build bridges, learn new languages, and prepare for a globalized world.

VNUK is expanding its academic offerings in response to growing demand for internationalized education. For the 2025 academic year, VNUK will increase enrollment targets and introduce new programs in fields such as International Business, Biomedical Science, Computer Science, and Nano Technology.

Additional new programs, including Hotel Management, Biotechnology, and Computer Engineering, are also planned, with an emphasis on practical training and global industry standards.
These initiatives are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for ensure success in both domestic and international job markets, while fostering a multicultural and inclusive learning environment.
