In the trend of globalization and industrial revolution 4.0, higher education institutions must simultaneously perform three missions including High-quality Human resources training; Scientific research &Technology transfer and Community services.
Each scientific work and technology product must be associated with the prestige and branding of the University, promoting the training quality and the community service, enhancing its prestige and ranking.

Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, the University of Danang (VKU-UD) was supported by the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea
As one of the three universities specializing in Information and Communication Technology in the whole country, with 100% lecturers having postgraduate qualifications (02 associate professors, 34 doctors, 25 doctoral students ... mostly graduated abroad), VKU-UD is currently training many majors meeting human resources for national digital transformation process and industrial revolution 4.0 such as: Software Engineering; Data Science & AI; IoT & Robotics; Safety Information; Ecommerce; Digital Marketing; Digital Finance-Accounting; Multimedia and Digital Arts ...

Modern and synchronous facilities meeting the requirements of human resource training
VKU-UD had developed the extensive international cooperation relationship with many prestigious universities and partners in the world (USA, France, UK, Germany, Japan, Spain, Korea, Australia, New Zealand ...). In particular, VKU-UD had also received the support and investment from Vietnamese and Korean governments, thereby continuously strengthening and completing synchronous and modern facilities to meet the requirements of training and scientific research.

Towards the 9th Conference on Information Technology and its applications (CITA 2020)
In the academic year 2020-2021, VKU-UD would continue deploying a series of Science and Technology events under the framework of its international strategy, especially at the end of this year, there would be:
(1) The 9th Conference on Information Technology and its applications (CITA 2020) (November 27, 2020): CITA is a series of national scientific conferences on IT and its application in the fields which were organized annually in Da Nang by VKU-UD (previously held by School of Information and Communication Technology, College of Information Technology - UD).

CITA- The VKU-UD’s prestigious scientific event series
CITA-2020 would be expected to attract a lot of leading professors such as: Prof. Dr. Marcin Paprzycki from IEEE; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vijender Kumar Solanki-Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India; Prof. Dr. Sc. Ngoc Thanh Nguyen from IEEE and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Thuy - University of Technology, Vietnamese National University, Hanoi ...
CITA’s proceeding would be published with an ISBN code collecting scientific reports presented in two sessions (Vietnamese, English), in which the high-quality English articles would have opportunity to be submitted to a prestigious international magazine. Towards the 12th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence
(ICCCI-2020)
(2) The 12th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence (ICCCI-2020) (in collaboration with Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland, from November 30th to December 03rd, 2020): ICCCI-2020 is an international scientific event attracting many scientists, scholars and experts to publish their research results and academic exchange in many specialized fields such as: Collective intelligence, intelligent computational methods applied in various fields (data and knowledge proceeding from independent sources, especially collective processing, knowledge technology and semantic web, multi-agent systems, consensus computing, social network analysis and recommendation system...).

The 19th ICCCI was organized in France
ICCCI was professionally supported by the IEEE Technical Committee (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). The ICCCI Proceedings would be published in the series Lecture Notes of Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) by Springer Publishers.
In addition, VKU would organize a scientific seminar for young researchers (chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh and professors from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland on November 28th, 2020).
With the aim of constantly improving the quality of training and scientific research, these series of Science and Technology events would be a "lever" to improve VKU’s branding in the digital age and the international integration in higher edu
