In the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic's spread in many countries around the world, international cooperation is one of the fields that are affected seriously. To adapt to this context, the University of Danang (UD) has applied information technology to connect online with international partners to maintain relationships.

The beautiful beaches with great tourism potential of Vietnam shall be accompanied by a useful companion namely "Smart floating garbage collector " of the group of students (students) of the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (DUT) who has just won the "Best Presentation" award at the eProjects-2020 Innovation Showcase held in Ho Chi Minh City.

 In the context of industrial revolution 4.0, universities not only had a mission to spread knowledge (according to the direction of research or application orientation) but also continued to develop into innovative universities. In addition, the role of lecturers was to help students know how to link theory to practice, shorten the gap between lecture halls and enterprises, foster a passion for learning and research to develop thinking, quality and professional skills in the digital age as well.

On August 24, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Lecturer of Electrical Engineering Faculty - University of Science and Technology cum Director of the Educational Quality Assurance - the University of Danang (UD), along with his research team members, including General Director of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) Ngo Tan Cu, have been honoured among the top 75 scientific works of the Vietnam Golden Book of Creativity 2020.

In the middle of August 2020, the member universities of the University of Danang (UD) have implemented the 2020 - 2021 new school year plan which promptly issued many practical support policies for current students.
