On the evening of October 24, 2019, the University of Danang (UD) successfully hosted the final round of the 2019 English Olympiad for English Major Students at Central area of Vietnam with 05 excellent teams including University of Science and Technology – UD (DUT-UD).

In the morning of October 22, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - President of the University of Danang (UD) chaired the meeting with Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France (UPHF) led by Prof. Franck Barbier – Vice President and Assoc.Prof. Dr. Le Thi Muoi - In charge of International Relations in Southeast Asia.

In the afternoon of October 09^th, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - President of the University of Danang (UD) had an intimate meeting with Honorary Professor Erich Johann Lejeune - Chairman of Heart for the Heart foundation for life organization, the Federal Republic of Germany; Honorary Doctor Irene Lejeune and Honorary Doctor Heinrich Netz - Munchen Hospital, Munich.

In the morning of October 7, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of the University of Danang (UD) had a meeting with Ms. Francesca Woodward – CEO the Cambridge Assessment English (CEA), the University of Cambridge, the UK.

At the meeting, WB Country Director Ousmane Dione highly acknowledged and appreciated UD's efforts in developing ODA loan projects and hoped that this visit would be an opportunity for both sides to discuss and solve shortcomings in order to accelerate the project.
