On May 24, 2021, School of Medicine and Pharmacy – The University of Danang (UD) has successfully organized an online workshop with the theme "Career guidance for nursing students with trends and job opportunities in Japan".

The program was coordinated and participated by the Association of home health equipment (BELU ALUPU), Hospital PIANO and representatives of ASEAN Exchange Promotion Board, representatives of Sakai City Government and Vietnamese nurses working in Japan.

Dr. Ho Xuan Tuan - Vice Dean of School of Medicine and Pharmacy-UD, together with representatives of leaders of the Science - International Cooperation Group and staff, lecturers and students of the Nursing Department participated in the online meeting at UD.

At the online workshop, there were 08 presenters from both sides who introduced the needs, trends and work of nursing and caring for the elderly in Japan.

The reports shared practical experience, information and skills needed to work in the elderly care of international nurses, and the participants also shared issues related to life of international nurses working in Sakai city, Japan.

The School of Medicine and Pharmacy-UD is currently delivering full time training programs in 04 majors: Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacy and Nursing with the enrollment target for the 2021 academic year expected to be 230, including: Medicine: 100; Odonto-Stomatology: 40, Pharmacy: 40 and Nursing: 50.
