On June 5, 2026, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) held a conference to announce appointment decisions for leaders of higher education institutions and vocational education institutions.

At the conference, Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son presented the appointment decision to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, a member of the Executive Committee of the Da Nang Party Committee, appointing him as President of UD (Decision No. 1168/QD-BGDDT) for a five-year term.

The Minister also presented appointment decisions to the Vice Presidents of UD, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Bac (Decision No. 1329/QD-BGDDT), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan (Decision No. 1339/QD-BGDDT), and Dr. Phan Minh Duc (Decision No. 1319/QD-BGDDT).

These appointments represent both a great honor and a significant responsibility for UD’s leadership board as they continue to guide the University toward new heights of development and achievement in the new era.
