UD attended the plenary session of the Digital Move Project in Slovakia and the Ulysseus 2025 Research and Innovation Conference within the Ulysseus Week Košice

From October 20-23, 2025, the delegation of the University of Danang (UD) including: Dr. Tran The Vu – Vice Dean VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) - UD, member of the DIGITAL MOVE Project's Professional Team, specialist of Department of Science and International Cooperation, member of the DIGITAL MOVE Project's Support Team attended the Plenary Session of the Digital Move Project in Slovakia and the Ulysseus 2025 Research and Innovation Conference within the Ulysseus Košice Week.

Within the framework of Ulysseus Košice Week, Dr. Tran The Vu attended the 3rd Discussion Session with the topic “Research and Innovation for Decarbonization, Sustainability and ESG”. Dr. Tran The Vu shared the experience of UD in digital transformation of higher education in Vietnam, and emphasized the role of technology, innovation and international cooperation in promoting sustainable development, reducing emissions and improving the effectiveness of university governance.

At the plenary meeting of the Erasmus+ Project “Digital Move– Connecting digital transformation between Asian and European universities”, representatives of UD and member universities of the Project (from Mongolia, Finland, France and Slovakia) discussed the following contents:

Summarized the results and progress of the implementation of the project's Work Packages (WP);

Evaluated the digital transformation process at member universities;

Presented the quality assessment report led by the University of Côte d'Azur (France);

Discussed the plan to complete the output products, the mechanism to disseminate the project's results and determine the direction of cooperation after the project ends;

Visited the TUKE innovation ecosystem, including OpenLab, University Library, Technicom and European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH Cassovium);

The delegation of UD also had a working session with Assoc.Prof.Dr. Jan Buleca - Deputy Dean in charge of Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Kosice (TUKE), Slovakia.

The two sides reviewed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between UD and TUKE from 2024, and discussed the implementation of student exchange programs between UD students and students of the Faculty of Economics, TUKE.
