On January 19, University of Science and Technology (DUT) – the University of Danang (UD) officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Hitachi Systems Corporation Vietnam to develop the “smart” 4.0 technology-applied laboratory.

On January 15, 2021, the University of Danang (UD) in collaboration with the JFE Steel Corporation (Japan) held the Scholarship Presentation Ceremony for the UD’s students.

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has issued a decision to reward 34 public universities for having many scientific articles that were published in prestigious international journals in 2020. The University of Danang (UD) is ranked 3rd with 311 articles (with a total reward of 960 million VND).

On the occasion of the 71st traditional anniversary of Students’ Day and the Vietnam National Union of Student (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2021), the University of Danang (UD) had 4 students who were honored to receive the January Star Award, 3 groups and 8 students won the title of “Students of 5 merits” at central level.

Recently, the Organizing Committee of the “Initiatives for the community” Program (the 3rd time) in 2020 has awarded the 3rd prize for the remote body temperature measuring machine of Prof. Dr. Bui Van Ga. The product was researched, manufactured, applied and promptly transferred with the aim to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic in the past year.
