On July 19, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) hosted an online signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with Otemae University - OD (Japan) with the participation of Prof. Mitsutoshi Hirano – President of Otemae University, Prof. Kozo Izawa – Vice President of Otemae University.

Also attending were leader representatives from relevant departments of the two universities, Faculty of Global Nursing – OD and School of Medicine and Pharmacy – UD.

Appreciating the significance of the two parties signing the MOU, the UD’s Vice President Le Quang Son expressed his hope and belief that the agreement will open up many opportunities for cooperation and development between the two sides.

Prof. Mitsutoshi Hirano – President of the OD, expressed his joy when he and the senior administrators of the OD attended and signed the MOU with the UD. The OD’s leaders believe that in the coming time, there will be cohesive, long-term and effective cooperation towards sustainable development goals.

According to the signed MOU, the two universities will strengthen the exchange of staff, lecturers and students; cooperate in fostering capacity of staff and lecturers; carry out joint research projects; co- organize conferences, seminars; share academic materials and information, etc.
