Metaverse (Meta-universe) is becoming a new technology trend with a combination of virtual technology and 3-dimensional space, considered the next development step of the Internet, being focused on research by leading corporations in the world such as Meta, Google, Microsoft.

Recently, at the Awards Ceremony for organizations and individuals with excellent achievements in science and technology activities in Da Nang city in 2022, many scientists and lecturers from the University of Danang (UD) ) have received the Certificate of Merit from the Da Nang City People's Committee (Decision No. 955/QD-UBND).

On the morning of May 9, 2022, The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) held an inaugural evaluation of 04 training programs (CET) according to ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance standards (AUN-QA) including: Control Engineering and Automation Program, Industrial Engineering and Management Program, Advanced Program in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Advanced Program in Embedded Systems and Internet of Things.
