On 1st August, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of the University of Danang (UD), chaired a meeting with the delegation from Niihama city, Ehime prefecture (Japan) led by Mr. Ishikawa Katsuyuki – Mayor.

On 28 July, 2024, at the final round of the Unihack-2024 application programming competition organized annually by Google Developer Student Club and Google Developer Group Cloud Danang, “The Seekers” team from University of Science and Technology (DUT) – The University of Danang (UD) won the championship with the “Hidden Gems” application to support tourist destination searching.

On 29 July, 2024, the leader representative of University of Science and Education (UED) – The University of Danang (UD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the leader representative from Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UTRU), Thailand.
