On the morning of March 28^th, 2020, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Duong - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Trang - Rector of University of Education-UD together with representatives of UD’s Youth Union and Student Union.

On the morning of March 26^th, 2020, University of Science and Technology-The University of Danang (DUT-UD) had a meeting to hand over an automatic hand sanitizer to Danang General Hospital to serve for the urgent requirements of Covid-19 prevention.

On the morning of March 23, 2020, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of the University of Danang (UD) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Quang Vinh - Rector of University of Science and Technology-UD (DUT-UD) attended the handover ceremony.

These technology products,researched and manufactured by the research group of renewable energy engine (GATEC) - University of Science and Technology – UD, have confirmed their features and effectiveness, especially in early detecting, limiting contact with people with high body temperature.

With the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, under the direction and recommendations of the authorities, the Covid 19 Anti-epidemic Steering Committee informed students to take time off  from university to prevent the spread.
