On December 4, 2024, Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) - the University of Danang (UD) in collaboration with NiX Education organized the opening ceremony of the Japanese-Vietnamese bilingual Information Technology (IT) Engineer Training Program (Course 3 - 23JIT).

On December 3, 2024, within the framework of the Vietnam - Asia Smart City Conference in Hanoi, the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) held the 2024 VietFuture Awards.

On December 13, 2024, the University of Danang (UD) in collaboration with the Keidanren Economic Federation (Keidanren) and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI) held the Scholarship Award Ceremony in 2024 for 20 students of the UD (7 million VND/student) with a total amount of 140 million VND.

On December 15, 2024, at the final round of the 2024 Star Award National English Competition for Students, team “Luminaries” including the UD’s students Bui Thao Ly, Vo Hong Phuc (School of Medicine and Pharmacy), Dinh Quynh Truc (University of Economics) excellently won the first prize.
