On the morning of June 3, The University of Danang – University of Economics (UD-DUE) held a ceremony to award quality certification for four training programs accredited during the 2023-2024 academic year according to the evaluation standards of the ASEAN University Network (AUN). The programs include Management Information Systems, Commercial Business, Economics, and Human Resource Management.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof., Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of UD-DUE; Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof., Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector; along with leaders of various units within the university and faculty members from the Business Administration, Economics, Informatics Statistics, and E-Commerce departments.

In his speech at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Le Van Huy affirmed that quality assurance in general and the accreditation of training programs in particular are important tasks that the university always prioritizes. During the 2023-2024 academic year, UD-DUE completed the accreditation of six training programs, including two according to national standards and four according to AUN-QA standards. The official accreditation results have now been received. The Rector emphasized that the results we are receiving today and the results from the previous accreditation of 14 training programs are a testament to the efforts and responsibility of the university's staff and faculty in ensuring the quality of education as committed to students and society. We also recognize that quality accreditation is not just about obtaining certification but a process and opportunity to review everything we have implemented as we have committed.

The Rector extended his gratitude and acknowledged the enthusiastic contributions and harmonious cooperation of all units, as well as the efforts of the staff, faculty, students, alumni, and businesses. He especially congratulated and thanked the faculty and staff of the four departments: Economics, Business Administration, Informatics Statistics, and E-Commerce for their tremendous efforts leading to today's proud achievements.

In the coming period, UD-DUE will continue to evaluate the quality of training programs to achieve 100% accreditation for all programs. The successful accreditation results of the 14 training programs will foster a culture of quality, spreading the spirit and strength of UD-DUE among all staff, faculty, and students, aiming for intrinsic quality in all activities of UD-DUE.
