In Inauguration Ceremony in overview

Attending the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – Danang City Party Committee’s Member, President of UD, Prof.Dr. Tran Van Nam - Former President of UD, Dr. Phan Minh Duc-Chairman of UD’s Council, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Van Duong - Vice President of UD, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Rector of DUE and representatives of leaders from member universities, affiliated units, offices, functional departments of UD.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Nguyen Ngoc Vu affirmed that the inauguration and officially putting into operation of the building was a breakthrough effort to enhance facilities, to meet the needs of teaching-learning, scientific research to contribute to improving the quality of training, for the sake of sustainable development.

"This spacious and modern project has brought a new face to DUE, a hallmark and an important premise for the University to grow stronger in the coming period", President of UD emphasized.

The President of UD believed and wished that the University would continue to improve and supplement additional items to make the multi-functional building fully furnished, exploited and used effectively; Prioritize space to serve learners, create a comfortable and professional working environment to serve university governance innovation.

The delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the building

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Rector of DUE made a sincere speech to thank UD's leaders and related units (government, management board, supervisor, consultant, contractor ...) for their concern, direction, creating conditions for the project to be invested, completed and met the set requirements.

“Promoting the tradition of a prestigious university, leading branch in training and scientific research in economic fields, the University always focuses on investment in facilities, best service for learners and staff, lecturers” – affirmed Rector Nguyen Manh Toan.

The Multi-functional building of DUE was invested with the development budget of the University and the support of UD. The building has 9 floors built in the middle of a green campus, is an outstanding architectural highlight with many convenient functions and high aesthetics.

With an area of ​​6,500 m2, the project is designed to include 04 main functional blocks: administrative block, reception and traditional space; Block of faculties and multi-purpose meeting rooms; Block of functional offices serving training, scientific research for learners, officials, lecturers, and international experts; Block of highly qualified scientific staff’s room.
