International students at the University of Danang's member universities, affiliated units: Celebrating Tet holiday is as warm as being at home

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Tiger) 2022, member universities, affiliated units of the University of Danang (UD) organized several activities to gather and present gifts to international students as well as create a chance to help them experience Vietnamese traditional culture.

University of Economics (DUE)-UD hosted a cordial meeting with its international students to encourage them to strive in their study, stay safe and healthy in prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic. The representatives of DUE-UD presented 27 Tet gifts to Lao students. The university's leaders also visited and greeted the Lunar New Year to international students staying at the dormitory.

Representatives of University of Science and Education (UED) - UD met and gave gifts to Lao students to celebrate the Lunar New Year. There are 56 Lao students staying at the dormitory at present.

Leaders of University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) - UD gave Tet gifts to 15 international students and interns. In addition, UFLS-UD presented gifts to 27 Vietnamese students who are staying in Danang instead of returning home in the context of the complicated Covid-19 pandemic.

Representatives of Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) - UD visited and offered gifts to 17 Lao students at the dormitory. These are students who are studying at VKU-UD and School of Medicine and Pharmacy - UD.

International students of the UD Campus in Kontum experienced of making Vietnamese Square Sticky Rice cake.

At the UD Campus in Kontum, there are currently 161 Lao students and 17 Cambodian peers who are staying in Vietnam to celebrate the Lunar New Year. For the first time, the campus organized the activity of making Vietnamese Square Sticky Rice cake -“Chung cake”, which is a cultural playground for foreign students to experience Vietnam's traditional custom and cuisine.
