The Journal of Science and Technology of the University of Danang (JST-UD) has just been accepted to the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) database system in 2021 - announced the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST).

To be included in the ACI, JST-UD meets the standards asymptotic to the world's leading prestigious citation systems such as competent scholarly contribution to the field of research, clear journal concepts and policy, uniform journal formats the quality of the journal's website, journal website in English and/or local language and citations in national or/and international databases.

This is an opportunity for JST-UD to be widely known in the Southeast Asia region and the world as a whole, thereby contributing to enhancing the international reputation of the UD.

JST-UD is an independent peer-reviewed journal, applying international standards, inheriting the achievements of 40 years of scientific and technological information activities of UD and its member institutions.

This journal publishes new and multi-disciplinary scientific and technological research works, reviews information on advances in science and technology for the teaching, research, and study of lecturers and students, and publicize the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State in the fields of education, training as well as in scientific and technological researches.

To date, 25 journals of Viet Nam have been accepted to the ACI database system.

Established in 2011, the ACI is a central regional database that was designed and set up to index all the bibliographic records and the citations of all quality ASEAN research outputs that appeared in the ASEAN scholarly journals.
