Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) chaired the meeting and worked with the Delegation of Niihama city, Eihime province, Japan led by Mr. Kato Tatsuhiko - Deputy mayor.

Also in attendance were Mr. Asano Hiroki - Chief City Office; Mr. Miyoshi Terukazu - General Director of Ability Center Manpower Company in Eihime Province; Mr. Shiraishi Tatsuru - Business Development Manager; representatives of the Department of International Cooperation and UD - Center for Risk Management and Safety Science.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed about cooperation opportunities in development and use of human resources, whereby the partners expressed their desire to create favorable conditions for UD graduates to work in Japan in the future.

According to the leadership representative of Niihama city-Eihime province, localities and businesses here currently have a great demand for human resources. Niihama city is also promoting the expansion of cooperation and diplomatic relations with Da Nang city, including UD - a large Vietnamese university with great potential for cooperation, especially in training and human resource development.

The UD leadership representative appreciated and acknowledged the goodwill of the leaders of Niihama city as well as the Ability Center Company, and assigned relevant units to further discuss  to prepare necessary and appropriate contents of  the Memorandum of Understanding for the parties to sign in the near future.
