Students of the University of Danang was the champion of the "GBA Business Challenge 2021" contest co-organized by GBA and DAAD

 

 

A group of students from the University of Danang – University of Economics (UD-DUE) and the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-USE) had excellently won the first prize of the " GBA Business Challenge 2021" contest which were co-organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The SHRIMPP team included students Nguyen Phuoc Vinh An, Dinh Gia Anh Minh, Nguyen Chau Giang, and former student Phan Phuoc Thanh Thuan with an innovative business idea "Bio-Pro for the industrial by-products treatment of shrimp production”.

This idea came from the desire to transform the waste from shimp processing into high nutritious microbial organic  fertilizers “Bio Pro” and “Bio Pos”. This project aims to create an environmentally friendly and circular economic solution for sea food processing waste and fertilizer manufacturing.

Overcoming more than 60 teams from various domestic universities, the UD's SHRIMPP team was excellently selected as one of the five teams participating in the GBA Business Challenge Finals 2021.

UD’s students won 2 consecutive championships of

GBA Business Challenge 2020, 2021

In 2020, the project "Futuristic Microalgae" of student Nguyen Quoc Vuong and his team from UD-University of Science and Technology also won the first prize of GBA Business Challenge-2020.

The GBA Business Challenge contest of GBA and DAAD is a national and international startup playground, thereby encouraging students and youth to come up with new business ideas. This contest not only requires creative ideas but also contributes towards the sustainable development and environmental protection in Vietnam.
