The Zeotic team including students from the University of Danang-University of Economics (UD-DUE) and the University of Danang-University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) had just won the Championship of GBA Business Challenge-2022 contest, co-organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Zeotic team included Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Hoang Ha Thao Nhi – students of UD-DUE, Le Van Nam and Nguyen Viet Thang – students of UD-DUT.

The innovative business idea of ​​ Zeotic team was to produce environmentally friendly building materials, especially for tiles with effective application, combining the two main materials, which were waste plastic and Used Zeolite.

According to student Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh – Leader of Zeotic team, this result came from the interdisciplinary knowledge, creativity and efforts of the whole team (there was a rhythmic connection between students of UD-DUE and UD-DUT), together with the enthusiastic companion and advice of Mr. Ananta Kar (International Training Center, UD-DUE).

Luwine team won the third prize

Besides, UD also had the two excellent teams: the Luwine team (a combination of students from UD-DUE and UD-University of Science and Education) won the third prize with the idea of ​​producing wine from Pouteria campechiana; The Fugine team (a combination of students from UD-DUE and UD-DUT) reached the top 5 with the idea of ​​using HHO - a renewable energy source, to create water instead of emissions in the process of burning fuel.

Overcoming more than 70 teams from universities/institutes in the whole country, UD had 03/05 start-up teams (Zeotic, Luwine and Fugine) excellently joined in the final round of the GBA Business Challenge-2022. This was the 3^rd time that UD’ students consecutively won the Championship at the international and national-level startup competition.
