The MoU signing ceremony between the University of Danang and SG Crossing Company Limited, Japan

On the morning of December 7th, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Mr. Suganuma Kurato - Director of SG Crossing Company Limited, Japan (SG Crossing) solemnly co-organized the online MoU signing ceremony.
At the meeting, from UD’s side, there were also Mr. Le Viet Nho Ph.D., Dr. Med. - Dean of UD-School of Medicine and Pharmacy (UD-SMP), senior representatives of International Cooperation Department, the Japan Center and affiliated units of UD-SMP. On the side of Japanese partner, there were Mr. Kurato Kanno Masahiro Ph.D., Dr. Med. - General Director of Tousenkai Healthcare System cum Director of Keiju Hospital and Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Lan - Director of SG Crossing in Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Vice President Le Quang Son warmly welcomed and highly appreciated the significance of the MOU signing ceremony. This would be a first step to create a premise for the sustainable and long-term cooperation between SG Crossing and UD-SMP in particular and UD as a whole, thereby strengthening the human resource training in the field of medicine and nursing.

On this occasion, Vice President Le Quang Son also introduced briefly the overview and outstanding results of UD, thereby expressing his desire to develop the cooperation relationship between UD-SMP and SG Crossing as well as open great opportunities for the academic exchange between experts and lecturers, supports students in their internships, professional skills and job opportunities after graduation.

Mr. Suganuma Kurato expressed his pleasure to establish a cooperation relationship with UD- a national key university with its prestige and experience in high-quality human resources training- in which UD-SMP, one of UD’s affiliated units, is a human resource training school in medicine and nursing to meet the needs of localities and enterprises of both sides.

According to Mr. Suganuma Kurato, SG Crossing is currently a member of Suganuma Group, specializing in consulting, developing human resource, providing facilities for agencies, enterprises and projects in many fields such as medicine, nursing, hotel service…
The representative of SG Crossing expressed his belief that the MoU signing between the two sides would contribute to foster the school-enterprise cooperation relationship and provide opportunities for UD-SMP’s students to approach, exchange and learn more experiences for the career development.

With the witness of representatives of both sides, the leaders of UD and SC Crossing signed the MOU, agreeing on the key cooperation orientations as follows:
-Joint programs in fields of mutual interests;
-Scholarships for UD’s students studying Japanese;
-Opportunities for UD’s students to study and work in healthcare organizations in Japan introduced by SG Crossing;
-Exchange of faculty, administrative staff, and students.
In the beginning, UD – SMP would be the pioneer to directly deploy this program, then the program would be continued to expand to related faculties at UD’s member universities.
