The online MoU signing ceremony between The University of Danang  and Meiji Gakuin University, Japan

 

On the afternoon of June 23rd, 2021, the University of Danang (UD) signed a cooperation agreement with Meiji Gakuin University, Japan (MGU). The signing ceremony was held online with the chairman of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son-Vice President of UD and Dr. Satoko Nakano - Vice President of MGU.

Attending the signing ceremony, there were also Dr. Aoi Mori-Director of International Center – MGU and senior leaders of UD’s relevant departments (Department of International Cooperation, Department of Student Affairs).

At the signing ceremony, Vice President Le Quang Son had highly appreciated the significance of the MoU signing between the two sides, affirming that this would be an important milestone to promote cooperation relationship for mutual benefits, towards to the sustainable development.

Vice President Le Quang Son also affirmed that UD always attached special importance to establish and develop the cooperation relationship with Japanese universities, Science and Education organizations and enterprises. In addition, he expressed his desire to implement cooperative activities between the two sides such as: deploy training programs and scientific research; exchange experts, lecturers and students; co-participate in projects and organize international events and seminars...

Dr. Satoko Nakano- Vice President of MGU expressed her pleasure when the two sides continued signing the Cooperation Agreement in the new period, thereby believing that the two universities would promote their potentials and advantages in order to work together and develop in the future.

MUG’s Vice President Satoko Nakano emphasized that despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the close cooperation relationship between the two universities had been continuously consolidated and developed, contributing to cultivate a strategic partnership of Japan-Vietnam.

The two sides committed to direct, support and deploy activities relating to UD’s member universities and affiliated units, of which VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education would soon coordinate with partners to build credits transfer programs for students.
