Recently, the University of Danang – School of Medicine and Pharmacy (UD-SMP) organized a scientific seminar on the diagnosis and treatment of post-Covid-19 disorders.

Attending the seminar were senior representatives of UD-SMP, UD- Medical Center, experts and doctors working at medical agencies in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province such as Specialist Doctor level 2 Lam Tu Trung - Director of Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital; Dr, MA. Med. Nguyen Dinh Hung – Interim Vice Director of Quang Nam Central General Hospital; PhD Dr. Med. Le Viet Nho, Dean of UD-SMP.

The seminar was intended for medical staff, doctors and lecturers to meet the needs of comprehensive, effective and timely care and treatment for Covid-19 patients who suffer from physical and mental health problems after contracting Covid-19.
The seminar gathered a lot of reputable, enthusiastic and experienced experts in the fields of healthcare such as Specialist Doctor level 2 Nguyen Hua Quang – Head of Internal Respiratory Department, Da Nang Hospital; PhD. Through the seminar, delegates and students had the opportunity to exchange and share experiences in in-depth topics such as diagnosis and treatment of lung injuries, cardiovascular injuries, post-Covid-19 mental disorders, thereby applying appropriate and effective treatment in medical examination for post-Covid-19 patients at medical agencies.
In the coming time, UD-SMP and UD- Medical Center would continue to organize multi-specialty CME courses to meet the needs of updating knowledge and professional skills for medical staff as well as taking health care of people in the Central area – Western highland of Vietnam.
