On July 19, 2024, at the international meeting of the Project “SOHO-Smart, Optimized, High-quality, and On-demand Tourism Innovative Education for Subtainable and Green Development”, The University of Danang (UD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the American International University in Bangladesh (AIUB).

Attending the working session and signing the MOU were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of UD; Prof. Abdur Rahman - Vice President of AIUB; representatives of UD - Department of Science and International Cooperation, UD - Department of Student Affairs.

Speaking to the partners, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of UD highly appreciated the significance of the signing of the MOU between the two sides, thereby opening up new opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the international integration process.

According to Prof. Abdur Rahman, Vice President of AIUB, he expressed his honor to have the opportunity to visit, work and sign the MOU with UD, one of the key member partners of SOHO within the framework of the Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education Project - Erasmus and known as a leading center for training, scientific research and international cooperation in Vietnam.

Opportunity to promote cooperation to contribute to

enhancing the reputation and academic performance of UD

According to the content of the MOU just signed, the two sides will promote cooperation in exchanging staff/ experts, lecturers, students/ trainees; supporting visits, work and research of professors and scientists; postgraduate joint training , academic exchange, research; co-searching for international projects, co-organizing seminars, conferences and exchange of documents and scientific publications.

According to the representative of UD - Department of Science and International Cooperation, through cooperation, the two sides will have more opportunities to promote and share knowledge and experience in fields and specialties in which each side has potential and strengths.
