In the afternoon of July 27, 2023, University of Danang (UD) welcomed and worked with the delegation from Dicle University (DU) led by Prof. Dr Faruk Gokce, Head of International Relations Office, DU. In the delegation, there was also Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Denli-Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, DU and Mr. Serkan Ekmen, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, DU. At UD’s side, there were MA. Ho Long Ngoc – Vice Director, Department of International Cooperation, Dr. Hoang Hai – Director of Japan Center and representative of Department of International Cooperation.

At the meeting, MA. Ho Long Ngoc – Vice Director of Department of International Cooperation warmly welcome the DU’s delegation to visit and work with UD as well as introduced briefly about UD- a key regional university, specializing in various majors such as IT, Engineering, Business, Medicine and Pharmacy, Foreign Languages…. In the development strategy, UD attached special importance to foreign partners, especially DU, Turkey. Moreover, MA. Ho Long Ngoc also highly appreciated the achievements between the two universities over the past time, especially within the framework of the Erasmus + Project. Over the past time, UD received several turns of lecturers and students from DU to practice, research and join in seminars at UD.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, UD received 05 professors from DU, Turkey to have meetings, teach and join in workshops, seminars at different UD’s member universities. In addition, UD also sent 01 Officers from Office of Research and International Cooperation to join in the exchange program at DU in July, 2023.

This is one of the contents in MoU signed between UD and DU under the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Accordingly, the two sides have been conducting student and lecturer mobility programs.

At the meeting, UD and DU intend to co-participate in many other projects funded by the Turkish Government and the European Community. Besides, this cooperation relationship also opens up many potentials for cooperation in training, research in the fields of Agriculture,  Business, Statistic and Informatics...

During 5 days of working visits at UD, the OU delegation also had seminars and field visits to School of Medicine and Pharmacy, VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education and University of Science and Education of UD.
