On April 3, 2026, at Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, leaders of The University of Danang - University of Economics (UD-DUE) and The University of Danang - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFL) attended a Career Talk and signed a cooperation agreement with Marriott International.

According to Marriott International representatives, the company is a globally recognized hospitality group with a strong brand and an extensive network of hotels and resorts. This includes properties in Central Vietnam, a region with considerable potential for tourism, trade, and investment growth.
The partnership is expected to create valuable opportunities for students from member universities of The University of Danang, especially those majoring in tourism and hospitality management, foreign languages, and international studies, to strengthen their professional knowledge and practical skills.
In the context of rapid digital transformation and the growing influence of artificial intelligence, Marriott International representatives noted that closer collaboration between enterprises and universities plays a crucial role. It helps students develop professional competencies, positive attitudes, strong character, and a forward-thinking, professional mindset. These factors are considered essential for graduates to quickly adapt to modern and internationally oriented working environments.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of UD-UFL, the university consistently prioritizes the close and vital relationship between higher education institutions and enterprises. This connection contributes significantly to improving training quality and narrowing the gap between academic learning and practical demands.
Welcoming the strengthened cooperation among the parties, the leadership of the university affirmed its commitment to pursuing a strategic vision for education and training aligned with enterprise needs. The university will continue updating and developing its training programs and expanding partnerships with corporations and businesses to support students in enhancing their adaptability, initiative, and practical competence.

Under the signed agreement, UD-DUE and Marriott International will focus on cooperation in human resource development, particularly in tourism and hospitality. The two sides will coordinate in organizing training activities and career orientation programs, facilitate student study visits and internships, and give priority to recruiting the university’s graduates.
Meanwhile, UD-UFL and Marriott International will collaborate to implement the Enterprise Semester Program. The program offers students opportunities to undertake intensive internships within Marriott’s hotel and resort network, enabling them to gain hands-on experience in an international working environment and better prepare for their future career paths.
