On February 4, 2026, University of Economics - University of Da Nang (DUE-UD) held a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of UD-DUE , strengthening connections and expanding partnerships with universities, especially within the ASEAN region, is a key focus of the University’s strategy for integration and international cooperation.

A representative of UD-DUE stated that today's MOU signing marks a significant milestone, laying the foundation for promoting collaboration that enhances the quality of education and scientific research. This partnership aims to meet the demands and trends of the ongoing internationalization of higher education.

According to Dr. Natthaphon Phumsiri, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Business Administration, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, this is an opportunity for both sides to leverage their strengths, share experiences, and expand academic spaces. He emphasized the importance of enhancing faculty and student exchanges amidst the increasingly dynamic and profound global integration.

Highly valuing the prestige and brand of UD-DUE, the representative of the partner institution expressed a strong desire and confidence that the signed cooperation will create numerous opportunities for scientists, research groups, and students from both universities to implement effective academic and research programs in the coming time.

According to the MOU, the two universities will strengthen their partnership through joint research, academic resource sharing, and exchange programs for experts and students. This collaboration focuses on developing research capacity, with a specific emphasis on Business Administration, technological applications, and innovation.
