On April 16, 2026, the University of Danang - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFLS),  held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Upraise Corporation, Japan.

According to Dr. Nguyen Huu Binh, Vice Rector of UD-UFLS, the signing of the MoU aims to create opportunities for students to study at the university while undertaking internships at enterprises, thereby developing professional competencies and meeting the needs of businesses and society.

The event marks an important step forward in the university’s international integration strategy, while opening up many internship opportunities and potential full-time employment in Japan for students majoring in Japanese Studies.

Mr. Katsuhide Iwahori, CEO of Upraise Corporation, Japan, stated: “We hope to provide opportunities for students not only through internship programs but also through pathways that enable them to secure full-time employment. Today marks the first step, but I look forward to a long-term partnership. We have plans starting from this year and in the years ahead, aiming not only at internships but also at full-time job opportunities for students after graduation.”

Under the signed agreement, the two parties will cooperate in implementing academic exchange activities, internship programs, and job placement support for students seeking employment in Japan. The partnership is expected to contribute to improving training quality, strengthening the university’s position in foreign language education, and meeting the demand for high-quality human resources in the Japanese labor market.
