From August 12-14, 2025, the International Student Exchange Program (VKU-ISEP) took place at the Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), a member of the University of Danang (UD).

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of UD-VKU, this program is part of the "incoming" exchange activities, welcoming Korean students from partner universities for academic and cultural exchange.
This initiative is part of the strategic directions of UD and VKU to strengthen international cooperation, focusing on creating more opportunities for faculty and students to engage in exchanges and integration, thereby enhancing the university's reputation and image among international partners.

Representing the Cheong Un international volunteer delegation from South Korea, Mr. Ko Yo Han, the head of the delegation, stated that the Korean partners were very happy and impressed by the friendly and hospitable reception from the lecturers and students of UD-VKU.
The program provided Korean students with the opportunity not only to explore Vietnamese culture and language but also to learn about the dynamic academic and research environment and share their own cultural and student life experiences with VKU-UD students.

According to a student representative, the days spent in the beautiful city of Danang will remain unforgettable memories in the journey of exchange and cooperation between the two universities.
The program was well-organized with a rich variety of content and activities. These ranged from a campus tour and academic exchange to a cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea. Highlights included teambuilding activities at My Khe Beach and a visit to the Da Nang Museum.
