On February 21, Assoc.Prof.Dr Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Prof. Philippe Dulion - Director of Administrative Affairs of Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France (UPHF) co-chaired the meeting and signed the extension of the cooperation agreement between the three parties: the UD, the UPHF and Hauts-de-France National Institute of Applied Sciences.

Also attending were representatives of  Department of International Cooperation - UD and the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation of the University of Science and Technology, UD. 

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the UD welcomed UPHF representatives to visit, work and sign the cooperation agreement.

Vice President of UD Le Quang Son introduced the overview of the UD with the organizational systems including 06 member universities and affiliated units, in which the University of Science and Technology has many training disciplines in the fields of engineering and technology,  The University of Science and Education has journalism training; Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology has information technology/communication training,... 

The leaders of the two sides signed the MOU.

With the experience of UPHF in innovation and large university governance, the needs and potentials of the two universities, Vice President of UD Le Quang Son highly appreciated the two sides' extension of the cooperation agreement and expressed that the two sides will have more opportunities to cooperation. 

Prof. Philippe Dulion – UPHF’s Director of Administrative Affairs expressed his pleasure to visit and work with the UD, thereby understanding, exchanging and agreeing on new orientations for cooperation between the two sides through signing extension of the cooperation agreement to promote, improve efficiently and more comprehensive. 

According to the framework of cooperation agreement between the UD and UPHF and the Hauts-de-France National Institute of Applied Sciences, the parties will strengthen cooperation to improve the training and scientific research, promote cultural exchange, friendship and mutual understanding, focusing on fields such as:  Exchange  lecturers and students within the framework of cooperation and internship programs; Participate in joint research projects, educational projects and academic exchanges; Co-coordinate in organizing seminars and scientific conferences; Exchange  information, documents and scientific publications; Implement joint research projects and co-publish the results of training...
