On June 9th, 2025, a working session and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)  took place at the University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) - UD with Cengage Learning Asia, Singapore.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of UFLS - UD, this milestone opens up opportunities for collaboration in digital transformation and the development of a digital learning materials ecosystem within the university.

It also aims to strengthen the connection between the university and businesse to train human resources for emerging fields such as English for technology and education, meeting the demands of society and the international integration market.

A representative from the university's leadership stated that with its pioneering experience in leading the National Foreign Language Project, the university desires to promote collaboration to improve the quality of training and scientific research associated with digital transformation in education, moving towards sustainable co-development with partner businesses.

According to Mr. Nhaim Khoury, Deputy Director of Cengage Learning Asia, it is an honor for the company to collaborate with one of the most prestigious universities in Vietnam's higher education system.

This is an opportunity not only to leverage the company's potential and strengths in providing learning resources, services, and digitalization but also to accompany UFLS - UD in developing new training programs that align with global needs and trends.

Under the signed MOU, both parties will collaborate in providing digital learning materials, developing training programs for English in technology and education, organizing academic workshops, and expanding international internship opportunities for students.
