University of Foreign Language Studies - UD signed partnership agreement with Marriott International Group

On May 23rd, 2025, at the Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, leaders from the University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) - The University of Danang (UD) and representatives from Marriott International Group in Vietnam held a meeting and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), focusing on collaboration in training and developing human resources.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of UD-UFLS, this marks an important step forward in strengthening the connection between education and the business sector. Its aim is to provide students with more opportunities to gain practical experience and develop their professional skills and careers.

Highly appreciating Marriott International's international reputation and brand, the university's leadership expressed confidence and hope that today's MOU signing will open up valuable experiential opportunities for students of the UD-UFLS to apply their specialized knowledge and skills gained in the classroom to the practical operations of the promising hotel and restaurant service sector.

According to Mr. Piotr Madej, Chairman of the Marriott Business Council in Vietnam, the Group always places people are at the heart of everything we do, including students to collaborate with universities and the community in providing young people to learn, experience and unlimited growth opportunities.

According to the signed MOU, UD-UFLS and the Marriott Group in Vietnam will promote cooperation in implementing internship programs, intensive training courses, experience sharing and career counseling, recruiting graduating students to work at Marriott hotels domestically and internationally.

This is also a highlight in the series of Career Week 2025 events organized by the Marriott Group nationwide, thereby meeting the supply and demand for high-quality human resources, bridging the gap between academia and business realities," stated the partner representative.
