04 more training programs of the University of Danang – University of Science and Technology were recognized to meet the International Quality Standard Certificate of AUN-QA

 

Quality Assurance Council of Asean University Network (AUN) had just sent the certificates of 04 training programs of the University of Danang-University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) recognized to meet the quality standards of ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) including: Mechanical Engineering-Specializing in Dynamic Mechanics, Mechatronic Engineering, Civil Engineering and Food Technology

        

It was the first time AUN had an online external review

to adapt and prevent Covid-19 (11/2020)

 

These training programs were accredited not only via the 186th AUN external assessment (opening on November 30th, 2020) under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Shahrir Abdullah – Vice-Chairman of AUN Council cum Head of the External Evaluation Team together with members from ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Laos, Philippines and Thailand) but also the 04th external assessment according to AUN-QA Standards of UD-DUT.

In order to adapt to the context of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, this was the first time that AUN's assessment team had worked, surveyed and evaluated online 04 training programs mentioned above to ensure reliability and objectivity. According to the results and AUN-QA certificates, these training programs were recognized as valid in the inspection cycle until November 29th, 2025.

Up to now, UD-DUT had 16 training programs meeting international standards (CTI of Europe and AUN-QA of Asean), contributing significantly to outstanding results in quality assurance and quality accreditation process of UD, ranked 03rd in the whole country with 24 accredited training programs, meeting international standards.


UD-DUT had been constantly improving

the quality of training and its brand reaching the international level

 

Training program accreditation according to AUN-QA standards facilitated students to transfer credits among training programs of AUN’s member universities; creating advantages for the students and lecturers exchange activities among universities in the ASEAN region and the world as a whole.
