On April 23th, 2025, University of Science and Education (UED), the University of Danang (UD) organized a Career Guidance Day for over 100 international students currently enrolled in the Vietnamese language program.

The program is an annual activity organized by UD-UED in coordination with other UD’s member universities to provide consultation, orientation, and information about undergraduate and postgraduate training programs so that international students can officially continue enrolling in their desired academic programs after the Vietnamese language preparatory course.

The event welcomed representatives from Danang Centre for International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Services; along with departments of UD including Science and International Cooperation, Student Affairs, Partners and Communication; as well as leadership from the University of Education, other member institutions, and nearly 100 international students currently enrolled in Vietnamese language programs at UD.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Vice Rector of UD-UED, the event serves not only as an academic orientation session for international students advancing to their specialized studies, but also as a meaningful platform to foster connection between students and faculty, staff, and administrative offices of UD and other member universities.

The program’s primary objective is to equip international students with essential insights into UD and member universities, enabling them to make informed choices about academic majors, future careers, and institutions that align with their personal aspirations. 

This is also the basis for international students to promote their potential, strengths and make choices according to their career aspirations to meet the needs of human resources, and later return to contributes for the development of their home countries.

According to the representative of the UD’s Department of Science and International Cooperation, UD currently has 09 undergraduate training institutions with 136 majors/specializations (many of which are international joint programs, training in English); postgraduate level with 48 Master's programs and 30 Doctoral programs.

There are about 600 international students from 20 countries and territories (not including interns and international student exchanges) enrolled in various programs ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate levels.

During the event, students received in-depth information and thorough guidance from departments of UD and member universities. UD has also implemented numerous support policies and activities to ensure international students feel welcomed and confident while studying, practicing, and experiencing Vietnamese language and culture at its training units.

With its wide range of academic programs and nearly 25 years of experience in international education, UD continues to affirm its reputation as a trusted destination for international students seeking comprehensive academic and personal development.
