11/07/2026

On July 8, 2026, The University of Da Nang -University of Science and Education (UD-UED) in coordination with other member universities of UD, Quang Nam University, and Danang Medical College, hosted a Career Orientation Program for international students currently enrolled in the Vietnamese Preparatory Program for the 2025 - 2026 academic year.

The program aims to support international students in accessing information regarding majors, specializations, training programs, admission requirements and opportunities, as well as future career development. This also serves as a foundation to guide international students after completing their Vietnamese language preparatory course in choosing their universities, majors, and individual learning and research pathways.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of  UD-UED, this is one of the key support and companionship activities for international students, organized annually by the University alongside other member universities and training units across UD.

The program goes beyond counseling, admission, and career orientation; it fosters connection and builds confidence for international students as they receive career guidance on their journey to acquire knowledge, aligning with the requirements and trends of the international labor market.

According to Dr. Phan Hoang Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and International Cooperation - UD, as international students transition to their specialized major studies, the knowledge and skills they acquired during the Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program will be highly significant and essential.

Congratulating the students on their achievements, the representative from UD's Department of Science and International Cooperation expressed hope that they would continue to integrate into the learning and research environment of Vietnamese language and culture. The representative also hoped the students would remain closely attached to the member universities and training units of UD, viewing them as a common home in their second homeland.

During the program, representatives from relevant departments and UD's member universities introduced and provided comprehensive information about their institutions, training majors, as well as the demands, potential, and development opportunities for international students.

Detailed information regarding admissions counseling, career orientation, admission criteria, scholarships, and tuition fees along with the learning environment, libraries, lecture halls, and dormitories was also thoroughly shared with the students.

The Q&A and interactive session drew significant interest from the international students. The specific, practical advice and guidance provided left them satisfied and reassured before the journey ahead. This serves as a solid foundation and motivation for these students to follow in the footsteps of previous generations of successful international alumni and graduates of the Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program, who have returned to contribute to the development of their home countries.

Prior to this event, UD-UED held a graduation ceremony for the 2025 - 2026 Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program, honoring 205 international students from various countries around the world, including Laos, China, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
