Recently, with the policy of leveraging the potential of international experts and intellectuals, including overseas Vietnamese, member universities of the University of Da Nang (UD) have proactively connected with and invited international scientists and lecturers to deliver intensive lectures. This initiative creates opportunities to access the latest development trends in global science and technology.

UD - University of Science and Technology (DUT) recently organized and invited Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Trung Hoa from Troy University (USA) to deliver thematic lectures on quantum science, quantum computing, and practical applications for lecturers and students from specialized faculties. These included the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Transportation Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, and Hydro-Construction Engineering.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Trung Hoa is currently the Education Director of VNQuantum Network. He possesses many years of experience in international publishing and scientific research, with core strengths in matrix analysis, quantum information theory, and quantum computing.

The academic lectures delivered by the expert inspired audiences by covering foundational science, electronics engineering principles, and the development history of electronic computing. The sessions also highlighted the opportunities, risks, and misconceptions to avoid in science, the practical application potential of quantum technology across various sectors, and orientations for building quantum ecosystems within organizations, institutions, and enterprises.

Previously, on June 22, 2026, UD - University of Economics (DUE) also invited Prof. Jarkko Peltomäki, a Professor of Finance from Stockholm Business School, Sweden, to present a thematic seminar titled 'To Woke or Not: Corporate Woke Engagement and Financial Outcomes'.

Prof. Jarkko Peltomäki introduced and shared the latest research findings, utilizing empirical evidence to evaluate the level of corporate engagement in social issues and its subsequent impact on financial performance.

The speaker further clarified the connection between corporate social responsibility (CSR), stakeholder expectations, and the capacity to create long-term value for agencies, organizations, and the community. The discussions revolved around corporate development strategies, branding, and the efficiency of production, business, and services.

With this appropriate approach and direction, it is hoped that in the near future, more prestigious domestic and international scientists, scholars, and experts will come to teach, spread a passion for science and technology, and unlock opportunities to strengthen collaboration in training and research across the member universities of UD.
