Lecturer from UD-DUT honored with the Women in Technology and Innovation Awards

Recently, the Women in Technology and Innovation Awards was presented to 19 female scientists, engineers, and students, including Associate Professor Dr. Le Thi Phuong Mai from the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at University of Science and Technology (DUT) - The University of Danang (UD).

The award, presented by the Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Centre, recognizes outstanding women in science, technology, and innovation, focusing on digital transformation, strategic industries, and international cybersecurity.
In addition to the award certificate, honorees receive academic support, travel grants, and the opportunity to connect with leading global scientists and experts for career development.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Phuong Mai previously received a postdoctoral scholarship from the VinIF Innovation Foundation of Vingroup and served as a postdoctoral fellow at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, where she worked on energy efficiency research for integrated massive MIMO smart antenna systems and UAV technology in multimedia communications (V2X).
This recognition aims not only to celebrate individual achievements but also to inspire future generations of female scientists to contribute to national science and innovation.
