Recently, member universities of the University of Danang (UD) have organized a series of activities to promote international student exchange, welcoming overseas students to experience academic life and cultural immersion. These initiatives also provide valuable opportunities to showcase UD’s dynamic, internationally oriented learning environment to global partners.

On June 29, 2026, the University of Danang - Vietnam–Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (UD-VKU) hosted the VKU-ISEP 2026 Academic and Cultural Exchange Program in collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand.

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of UD-VKU, the program brought together experts, lecturers, and more than 50 students from Thailand and Vietnam, along with seven high school students from Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted in Da Nang and Hai Ba Trung High School in Hue.

More than an annual international exchange event, VKU-ISEP 2026 vividly reflects VKU’s commitment to the internationalization of higher education by creating an environment where university and high school students can strengthen their foreign language proficiency, teamwork, and global mindset.

As part of the program, students from both universities participated in a series of innovation-oriented academic activities, applying the Design Thinking approach and developing Business Model Canvas projects in the fields of information technology, tourism, and digital transformation.

On June 25, 2026, the University of Danang - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFLS) officially launched an international student exchange program with Youngsan University, Republic of Korea.

According to Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong, Vice Rector of UD-UFLS, the University has consistently prioritized expanding international partnerships and strengthening global integration by fostering a multicultural academic environment that enables both faculty members and students to enhance their professional expertise and soft skills.

Recognizing UD-UFLS’s vibrant academic environment, representatives of Youngsan University expressed their confidence that the exchange program and its academic, cultural, and language activities would further strengthen educational cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, comprehensive strategic partners. The program also offers valuable opportunities for UD-UFLS students to improve their Korean language communication skills while enabling Youngsan University students to gain first-hand experience of Vietnam’s culture and people.

On June 29, 2026, a delegation of lecturers and students from Busan University of Foreign Studies, Republic of Korea, visited the University of Danang - University of Economics (UD-DUE) for academic exchange activities with faculty members and students of the Faculty of International Business.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the University’s key achievements and distinctive features, as well as its international education programs.

Faculty members from both universities also shared insights into their respective cultures, languages, and academic strengths, providing students with fresh perspectives and enriching experiences throughout the academic exchange.

In addition, students participated in activities designed to explore university life, engage in team-building exercises, and collaborate within a multicultural international environment. These experiences not only enhanced their understanding of diverse learning environments but also laid a foundation for future student exchange programs while strengthening their intercultural competence and global citizenship.
