On November 11, 2025, the opening ceremony of the “Hanwha Life Future Plus Korean Invitation Program 2025” took place at Hanwha Life Group headquarters in Seoul, the Republic of Korea​.

The event marked a significant collaboration between the University of Danang, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (UD - VKU), Hanwha Life Group, and ChildFund Korea (CFK).

Distinguished attendees included Mr. Im Seok-hyun, Executive Director and Head of Strategic Planning at Hanwha Life, and Ms. Shin Jeong-won, Head of Social Contribution at ChildFund Korea. Representing UD - VKU were Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector and Head of Delegation, along with the leadership of the Student Affairs Office and 20 UD-VKU's students.

Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho expressed his honor in accompanying VKU students to participate in the program in South Korea, extending heartfelt gratitude to Hanwha Life and ChildFund Korea for their ongoing support of VKU through various meaningful initiatives. 

These include the Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad and VKU Campus Tour in 2024 and 2025, which attracted nearly 6,000 students from primary, secondary, and high schools nationwide; the DEFI 2025 International Conference; and sponsorship for the establishment of the VKU Fintech Hub for research and entrepreneurship.

The “Hanwha Life Future Plus Korean Invitation Program 2025” presents a valuable opportunity for VKU students to broaden their horizons, gain international experience, and access cutting-edge financial and technological environments. The program aims to inspire innovative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and global integration, aligning with VKU’s educational mission in the digital era.

Hanwha Life representatives introduced the Future Plus Talent Development Program, global strategies, talent development plans for Vietnam, and ongoing CSR activities. Students from both universities had the opportunity to visit Hanwha Life Insurance headquarters and the Gangnam Dream Plus Startup Center.

They attended specialized lectures on AI in insurance, Insurtech and the future of finance, and the Direct Insurance Product Inquiry Chatbot—an advanced AI solution for automating insurance product consultations. Additionally, they learned about the success stories of Korean Fintech startups in Vietnam.

The “Hanwha Life Future Plus Korean Invitation Program 2025” serves as a meaningful bridge for cooperation between Hanwha Life, CFK, and VKU, providing students with international exchange experiences and fostering the spirit of global integration among Vietnamese youth in the digital age.
