The Central Budget allocates 90% of the capital to implement the VNUDP Project at the University of Danang (UD)

The Government has just issued Resolution No. 70/NQ-CP on the financial mechanism applied to reciprocal capital for the subprojects under the Vietnam University Development Project (VNUDP), funded by the World Bank (WB), including the project "Development of Technical Infrastructure and Essential Facilities for University of Danang in Hoa Quy – Dien Ngoc ".

According to the Resolution No. 70/NQ-CP, the Government has agreed to the financial mechanism to be applied to the reciprocal capital of the subprojects under the VNUDP Project including: VNUDP – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi) subproject; VNUDP- Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMC) subproject; "Development of Technical Infrastructure and Essential Facilities for University of Danang at Hoa Quy - Dien Ngoc" subproject, funded by the WB at the rate of 90% of the central budget allocated.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Da Nang shall arrange 10% capital of their own legal revenue.

The Ministry of Education and Training, VNU-Hanoi, VNU-HCMC and UD shall take full responsibility to inspection and audit agencies for the accuracy of information, data reports and accountability; compliance with financial balance and legal regulations in reciprocal capital allocation from lawful revenue sources for subprojects according to the stated regulations. At the same time, based on the current legal regulations and decisions on public investment of competent authorities, the governing bodies shall register the demand for and arrange public investment plans for capital sources in the 2021-2025 period at their own subproject.
