The delegation from the British Consulate General in HCMC and leader representatives, specialists of British universities visited the University of Danang

On 18th October, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) chaired a meeting with the delegation from the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and leader representatives, specialists of British universities led by Mr. Sam Wood – British Deputy Consul General in HCMC.

Speaking to partners, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son warmly welcomed the delegation to visit and work with the UD.

The visit was even more meaningful as it took place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UK (11th September, 1973 – 11th September, 2023).

During the development process, the UD always values and cultivates cooperation relationships with British agencies, organizations, universities, businesses.

According to Vice President Le Quang Son, the UD sincerely hopes to connect, cooperate closely and effectively with British partners in the coming time.

For his part, Mr. Sam Wood – British Consul General in HCMC, stressed that education plays an important role in the cooperation between the two countries. The meeting is an opportunity for both sides to review achievements and discuss orientations for further development in the future.

On this occasion, UD also coordinated with the Consulate General of the United Kingdom in Ho Chi Minh City to successfully organize the seminar "Sharing experiences and needs in higher education between Vietnam and the United Kingdom"
